The workshop is one of the activities within the framework of the 6th Global Forum of Young Vietnamese Intellectuals, organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union in coordination with the Global Network of Young Vietnamese Intellectuals and related units at the University of Economics (Vietnam National University, Hanoi).

Entering its fourth implementation, the forum is expected to become a place to connect outstanding young Vietnamese people around the world , aiming for a sense of responsibility and action associated with practical, feasible solutions that have a high impact on many social classes, especially young people.
Vice President of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association, Deputy Head of the Youth and Children Affairs Department of the Central Youth Union Nguyen Huu Tu - representative of the Organizing Committee said: The theme of the conference is actually a call, and at the same time a warning that young people need to join hands to create solutions and connect knowledge so that Vietnam can rise strongly amidst the waves of global change.
"We are living in a world of constant change, from geopolitical instability, energy crisis, increasingly severe climate change, to the recent global pandemic that still leaves many long-term consequences. These challenges not only require timely responses, but also require sustainable adaptability and long-term strategic thinking, especially from young intellectuals," said Mr. Nguyen Huu Tu.

Within the framework of the workshop, delegates exchanged, discussed and proposed a number of solutions and initiatives related to responding to climate change and extreme natural disasters; enhancing the resilience of the healthcare system to new epidemics; enhancing international cooperation and knowledge transfer among Vietnamese people around the world; and the role of youth in national adaptation strategies.
