On the new journey, Da Nang Power Company (DNPC) with many changes in management scale, operating model, and human resources has been striving to complete the production and business plan, investment and construction tasks in 2025, ensuring electricity supply for Da Nang City in the period of development.
Da Nang Electricity Company is ready for a new journey after the merger.
Currently, the city is supplied with power from the 500kV Da Nang transformer stations, the 500kV Doc Soi transformer station, the 500kV Thanh My transformer station; the 220kV Hoa Khanh transformer station, the 220kV Hai Chau transformer station, the 220kV Ngu Hanh Son transformer station, the 220kV Duy Xuyen transformer station, the 220kV Tam Ky transformer station, the 220kV Song Tranh transformer station, the 220kV Thanh My transformer station and 35 110kV transformer stations.
In which, the management volume of DNPC is as follows: For 110kV grid, managing 26 stations, capacity 2,178MVA; 35kV grid, managing 09 35/22kV substations, capacity 66.3MVA; 38 35/0.4kV substations, capacity 4.9MVA; 22kV grid, managing 6,562 distribution substations, capacity 2,085MVA; 12,235 km of medium and low voltage lines.
Commercial electricity output in the first 6 months of 2025 reached 3.1 billion kWh. Of which, the consumer management component accounted for 1.25 billion kWh, accounting for 40% of the load structure; industry - construction 1.19 billion kWh, accounting for 38%; commerce - hotel - restaurant 0.5 billion kWh, accounting for 16%; other activities 0.15 billion kWh, accounting for 5% and agriculture - forestry - fishery 0.04 billion kWh, accounting for 1%. There are a total of 873,270 customers using electricity. The company manages 3,900 rooftop solar power systems, with a capacity of 242,643 MWp.
In the first six months of the year, DNPC has made efforts to complete key projects, complete the grid, prevent line overload, improve the reliability of power supply throughout the area, and ensure the grid serves people and businesses in the dry season of 2025. Of which, 51 major repair projects and 42 construction investment projects have been completed, promptly meeting the needs of customers in Da Nang City.
The last months of 2025 pose requirements and challenges requiring DNPC to quickly adapt to the conditions and situations of the new period, strive to complete the tasks assigned by EVNCPC, and at the same time ensure power supply throughout the city. DNPC has urgently prepared the organization method, reviewed the work areas to ensure the fastest implementation of policies and directions of EVN, EVNCPC and the city.
Operation management focuses on reviewing the power grid, ensuring power supply during the hot season, preparing plans for natural disaster prevention, search and rescue in the last months of the year. Service business continues to focus on customers, maintain online electricity services, continue to implement electricity saving activities according to set goals; work with investors of apartment buildings, urban areas, commercial - service - residential complexes, high-rise buildings... on the electricity industry's policy to be ready to receive and retail electricity directly to customers; strive to complete the planned targets assigned by the Corporation.
Construction investment work continues to monitor and closely follow the progress of relocating key projects of the city and the country such as: Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan Expressway, high-speed railway, National Highway 14E, connecting the Central region...
On the upcoming difficult and challenging journey, DNPC hopes to continue to receive close attention and direction from Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), EVNCPC; and the trust and support of Party committees, authorities and people of Da Nang so that the company can complete its goals and tasks in the new period, contributing to the dynamic and strong development of the city.
