According to information from Hai Duong Electricity Company, the unit has just received 4 transformers with capacities of 1,250kVA, 750kVA, 630kVA and 560kVA from Hitachi Energy Vietnam Co., Ltd. through the Northern Power Corporation.
These transformers will be used by Hai Duong Electricity Company to install and replace transformers burned and damaged by storm No. 3, contributing to improving capacity, electricity quality and reliability of power supply in Hai Duong province.
Storm No. 3 caused many power lines and distribution transformer stations in many northern provinces and cities to fail, including Hai Duong. In addition to the damage to the power grid, many transformers and thousands of electrical cabinets and electricity meters were also flooded and damaged. Therefore, Hitachi Energy Vietnam has supported localities whose power grid systems were severely affected.
