With economic development, people actively participate in contributing with the local government to implement social welfare projects and build new rural areas. The commune mobilizes all social resources from many economic sectors to invest in infrastructure to serve urban development and build new rural areas, with the motto "People know, people discuss, people do, people check, people supervise, people benefit". "Thanks to the good implementation of propaganda and mobilization work, union members and people clearly understand their rights and responsibilities in contributing working days and materials to participate in building new rural areas, creating strong changes in rural areas. Along with the investment of the State, people in the commune actively participate in donating land, contributing working days to repair and upgrade bridges and rural roads", said comrade Bui Cong Phuoc.

Coming to Vinh An commune these days, it is easy to see positive changes, many roads are paved with asphalt or concrete, and more and more solid houses are being built. Schools, medical stations, community cultural houses... are spacious, clean, and beautiful. Chairman of Vinh An Commune People's Committee Tran Van Binh Linh shared: "The completion and putting into use of rural traffic works is of great significance, gradually meeting the needs of people for travel and exchange of goods, and students going to school more safely. Thereby, creating favorable conditions for the commune to develop its socio-economy, improving the material and spiritual life of the people".

Previously, it was very difficult for people to travel from Provincial Road 941 to Dinh Son Trung Historical and Cultural Relic Site due to the narrow and degraded road. Now, this road has been upgraded to be spacious and airy. Along with that, Dinh Son Trung Bridge has been newly built and put into use, making it convenient for people to travel and visit Dinh Son Trung to worship and visit. Mr. Do Tuan Kiet, residing in Vinh Quoi Hamlet, confided: "Not only local people but also people everywhere are very excited when this road is upgraded. Now, people can go to Dinh Son Trung much more conveniently than before, without traffic jams like before."

Cultural life in Vinh An has been significantly improved, when the local government paid attention to investing in the system of cultural, physical training and sports facilities and organized sports activities and mass art programs, attracting a large number of people to participate. Up to now, the whole commune has 93.6% of households achieving the title of cultural family or higher; 10/10 hamlets achieved cultural standards and maintained 28 units with the title of cultural agency. Ms. Nguyen Thi Be Hai, resident of Tan Loi hamlet, excitedly said: "The local government also mobilized the installation of lighting and the construction of cultural facilities on rural roads. People are very sympathetic and supportive of the policy of the State and the People joining hands and contributing to building new rural areas. Because after all, the people are the beneficiaries."

Promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, Vinh An commune is determined to maintain and improve the quality of new rural criteria, creating a solid foundation for building an increasingly developed homeland.
