On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Republic of Italy (June 2, 1946 - June 2, 2026), on June 2, General Secretary and President To Lam sent a congratulatory message to President Sergio Mattarella; Prime Minister Le Minh Hung sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni; and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man sent a congratulatory message to Senate President Ignazio La Russa and House of Representatives President Lorenzo Fontana.
On the same day, Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung sent a congratulatory message to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani.
