On November 7, the Department of Information and Communications organized a drill to ensure defense operations in 2024 with the theme of transferring information and communications activities into defense states; organizing preparations and practicing information and communications assurance in operations in the province's defense area.

The exercise was conducted in 3 phases, including: transferring the department's activities to defense status; organizing preparations to ensure defensive operations; practicing ensuring defensive operations. Along with that were 4 related training issues.

The Department of Information and Communications' drills include 3 phases and 4 training issues.

Through the exercise, the aim is to improve the leadership, direction, management and operation capacity of the Party Committee and leaders of the Department; the advisory capacity of the departments under the Department and the media and press units in the province in the state of national defense and in ensuring defensive operations.
