On May 27th, Le Hang addressed audience questions about her married life. The actress said she received many questions about her family, especially about why her husband is not often seen by her side.
Le Hang recounted that she got married in 1998 and gave birth to a daughter a year later. However, the marriage only lasted a few years before they decided to separate, a separation that has lasted 20 years to date.

"I was 52 when I went to court, but I felt relieved and at peace. We parted ways amicably and wished each other well. Things would have been different if we had thought about this sooner," the actress said.
Le Hang believes that the past period has been a great life lesson. She admits that she used to live too instinctively, be too strong-willed, and have a big ego, which led to a deadlock in her marriage.
"I have no regrets because it's all my fault. They also suffered because they married me. I hope everyone avoids my situation; if a marriage isn't harmonious, end it decisively. Don't drag it out and cause both of you to become stuck. It's not that I'm giving up, but I accept my fate to live happily," she shared.
For many years, Le Hang has almost disappeared from the screen. The actress said she no longer thinks about returning to acting after her past mistakes.
"I apologized on social media, but the mistake will haunt me for life. Artists are supposed to inspire, so past mistakes haunt me," she said.
In April 2023, Le Hang was prosecuted for illegally trafficking narcotics. On the evening of March 10, 2023, the drug crime investigation force of the Dong Da District Police discovered the actress engaging in the illegal buying and selling of narcotics on Kham Thien Street, Hanoi . Nearly 0.7 grams of synthetic drugs were seized. At the police station, Le Hang confessed to buying the drugs for 500,000 VND to resell to others.
The actress believes that after this incident, she has almost no chance of returning to the stage or film. According to Le Hang, some singers may still be able to perform again, but in the fields of stage, television, and film, it is very difficult for artists who have made mistakes to appear on screen as before.
"I'm definitely not going back to that profession. My health isn't good enough to work anymore," she said.
Le Hang revealed that she suffers from stage 4 heart failure and her health has been declining for many years. Currently, the actress lives with her sister in her hometown of Tuyen Quang . She frequently shares her daily life on social media.
"Currently, my life back home is very good. I live comfortably within my means and am content with my current situation. Even when I was famous, I lived simply, without extravagance," she shared.
Le Hang, whose full name is Bui Thi Le Hang, studied at the Hanoi University of Theatre and Film. She is known to many viewers for her role as Hoai Thatcher in the television series "Please Believe Me ".
According to Le Hang, the character Hoai shares many personality traits with her in real life, and she considers this to be her most memorable role.
Following the success of "Please Believe Me ," Le Hang participated in many other projects such as "Candles in the Night," "White Collar," "Stories of the City Streets," "Dragonfly Squadron," etc. She was often given strong-willed or villainous roles. In 2012, the actress announced her retirement and almost completely withdrew from Vietnamese showbiz.
