At the age of 62, Mourinho returns to Benfica, where he began his coaching career in 2000. He only led the team for 10 games before leaving due to conflicts with the board. This return has special meaning, not only for Mourinho but also for Benfica fans, who are always eager to see the team regain its leading position in Europe.

Mourinho will make his official debut on the Benfica coaching bench this weekend, away to AVS, who are currently ranked 17th.
