The men's singles final witnessed the successful "overthrow" of tennis player Dinh Anh Hoang (T&T People's Police) against the defending champion Nguyen Anh Tu ( Hanoi ) with a final score of 4-1.

In set 1, Dinh Anh Hoang entered the match with confidence and completely dominated the game. With his fast, decisive play and flexible handling of both his backhand and forehand, Anh Hoang made Anh Tu continuously make mistakes. The player of the T&T People's Public Security won 11-2, creating a mental advantage very early. In set 2, with the spirit of the defending champion, Anh Tu adjusted his tactics and defeated Dinh Anh Hoang with a score of 11-5, bringing the match to a 1-1 balance.

But right after that, with the spirit of a SEA Games champion, Dinh Anh Hoang played brilliantly, defeating Anh Tu in the next 3 sets, respectively 11-9, 11-7 and 11-6 to win the Gold Medal. This was also the first time Dinh Anh Hoang won the national championship.

In the women's singles, the final was a competition between Nguyen Thi Nga (Hanoi) and Bui Ngoc Lan (Hai Duong-Long Hai). The tennis player from the capital had no difficulty in defeating her opponent with a score of 4-0 (11-9, 11-8, 11-9, 11-7), thereby winning the national championship this year.

Previously, in the men's team and men's doubles events, the T&T People's Police team also had an excellent performance with 2 gold medals. Meanwhile, the gold medals in the women's team, women's doubles and mixed doubles all belonged to the Ho Chi Minh City team.
