Recently, DJ of Rap Viet season 3 WUKONG attracted attention when he entered the DJ MAG 2023 rankings with the world's top DJs. He also revealed about the 'huge' projects that are about to hit the Vietnamese and international markets.

WUKONG, whose real name is Alfy Ngor, is a top DJ and music producer in Singapore. He was born in 1991 to a Chinese-Singaporean father and a Malaysian mother.

He is the first Asian DJ and music producer signed to Liquid State, which is also the management company of famous DJ Alan Walker, R3HAB.

In Vietnam, WUKONG attracted attention when he participated in the show "Who is that person?" in 2022 as the male lead. Following that success, he became a "television phenomenon" as a DJ of Rap Viet in 2023.

The handsome, stylish and individual image combined with fashion that always has Pokemon teddy bears as accessories has become the highlight of WUKONG.

He is a DJ and a pioneering music producer with the Oriental Rave style, a fusion of Asian and international elements. He also owns the international hit Legend of Wong Fei Hung - Rebirth. His latest song Hold on tight (Ooh la la) in collaboration with Cesqeaux - a music producer who has collaborated with Justin Bieber (song 2U), has also achieved many impressive digital music achievements.

Recently, WUKONG became the first Singaporean to enter the DJ MAG world rankings. There are only 7 Asians in this ranking.

Being honored in this prestigious ranking along with the world's top DJ names such as David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, Alan Walker, Calvin Harris, R3HAB, WUKONG feels this is a great honor that cannot be described in words. Currently, Saigon is still the place where WUKONG and his crew live and return after their tours abroad. Currently, WUKONG is still in the process of learning Vietnamese and looking forward to the day when he can comfortably converse in Vietnamese. He firmly believes that being confident in communicating in Vietnamese will open up great opportunities for WUKONG in the future.

In the coming time, on Christmas this year, WUKONG will return to Vietnam to give gifts and scholarships to disadvantaged students in the mountainous provinces of the North and Central regions. WUKONG's dream of building schools and classrooms in Vietnam from 2022 to now is gradually becoming a reality. It is expected that in the middle of next year 2024, WUKONG will begin to realize this dream.

And he also chose Ho Chi Minh City as his second hometown.

Regarding music products, he is collaborating with world-class music producers such as Ben Nicky, Brennan Heart, Nurko... to release his debut album next year. This will be a pop/EDM product, more marketable to Vietnamese audiences.

This December, WUKONG will perform at Asia's biggest festivals such as ZoukOut in Singapore, Peakstorm in Malaysia, DWP in Bali (Indonesia).
