DJI announces the company's first 360° action camera.

DJI has officially introduced the Osmo 360, the company's first 360° action camera with many outstanding recording features.

According to DJI, the Osmo 360 promises to set a new standard in the 360° camera segment by offering the ability to shoot video in 8K 50fps and continuously record at 8K 30fps for 100 minutes.

The Osmo 360 is equipped with two 1/1.1-inch CMOS sensors, equivalent to a 1-inch sensor when shooting 360°. This is the industry's first camera to use square HDR sensors specifically designed for 360° shooting. These sensors have a 13.5-stop dynamic range and an f1.9 aperture, with an ISO range from 100 to 51,200.

The DJI Osmo 360 boasts impressive video recording capabilities.

With its dual cameras, the Osmo 360 is capable of shooting 360° video up to 8K at 30 fps or 50 fps with upscaling. Additionally, it can record in 4K resolution at up to 100 fps. For those who prefer still photography, the Osmo 360 can capture still images up to 30.72 MP with a 4:3 aspect ratio from a single lens, or 120 MP panoramic images with a 2:1 aspect ratio from both lenses.

The Osmo 360 stands out with its impressive recording time, allowing for up to 100 minutes of continuous 8K 30 fps panoramic video and 190 minutes of 6K 24 fps panoramic video. The camera also operates efficiently in low temperatures, allowing users to record for up to 1.5 hours in temperatures below 0°C, or even as low as -20°C.

The product is equipped with other outstanding features such as HorizonSteady to ensure consistently balanced footage and RockSteady 3.0 for image stabilization. The Osmo 360 has a 2-inch screen with a resolution of 314 x 556, built-in 128 GB of internal memory (105 GB available), and supports microSD cards up to 1 TB. Additionally, the camera supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth connectivity with the ability to record video using palm gestures or voice commands.

The DJI Osmo 360 is priced at 480 EUR for the Standard Combo package, which includes the camera, protective bag, and rubber lens protectors. The Adventure Combo package costs 630 EUR and includes an additional 1.2m invisible selfie stick, two Extreme Battery Plus batteries, and a multi-purpose battery case.
