Approximately 30 high-powered motorcycles entered the Bac Giang - Lang Son expressway. When spotted by traffic police, some fled, including one that struck an officer.
At 9:00 AM on August 26th, while on duty at the Bac Giang - Lang Son expressway toll station, a task force from the Highway Traffic Control and Patrol Team No. 2 (Team 2, Traffic Police Department) spotted a convoy of large-displacement motorcycles illegally entering the expressway.
When the task force signaled them to stop, many drivers sped away in the section passing through Tan Hung commune, Lang Giang district (Bac Giang province) to get off the highway.
While fleeing, a vehicle crashed directly into Major Vu Thanh Tung, the team leader, causing him minor injuries.

By 2:30 PM the same day, traffic police had temporarily seized more than 10 large-displacement motorcycles. Footage from the toll booth's security cameras showed that the convoy consisted of approximately 30 vehicles with license plates from various provinces and cities such as Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, etc.
According to the statements of some members of the group, at around 6 am on the same day, the entire group gathered in Long Bien district (Hanoi) to go on a trip to Lang Son.

Authorities are continuing to coordinate with police in Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces to track down the remaining individuals and clarify the incident.
