Delegation of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army visited and presented gifts to policy families in Tran Phan commune

On the afternoon of August 19, a working delegation from the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army led by Senior Lieutenant General Thai Dai Ngoc, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, visited and presented gifts to policy families in Tran Phan commune.

Senior Lieutenant General Thai Dai Ngoc presented a symbolic plaque supporting houses of gratitude and great solidarity to representatives of Tran Phan commune.

Speaking at the visit and gift-giving ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Thai Dai Ngoc was delighted at the changes in his heroic homeland, famous in history for the victory of Dam Doi - Cai Nuoc - Cha La.

Senior Lieutenant General Thai Dai Ngoc said: During this visit, the delegation came to present funding to support the construction of houses for policy families and poor households in the commune, in order to show gratitude for the contributions of heroic martyrs and to implement the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide. Through this, it demonstrates the close bond and affection between the army and the people; hoping that the local government will pay attention to supporting policy families, poor households, and households in difficult circumstances to improve their lives.

On this occasion, the delegation donated 16 gratitude houses and solidarity houses worth over 1.1 billion VND; and presented more than 100 gifts to families with revolutionary contributions and families with difficult circumstances. This is one of the key activities to show gratitude to families with meritorious services and families with revolutionary contributions on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2).
