The Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense delegation organized gratitude activities in Quang Tri

On July 26, a delegation from the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense, led by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense, visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiaries in Quang Tri province. Joining the delegation were Colonel Ngo Nam Cuong, Deputy Commander of Military Region 4; Colonel Doan Sinh Hoa, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command.

In a series of activities to celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), to show gratitude to families of policy beneficiaries and people with revolutionary contributions in Quang Tri province, the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense delegation visited and presented gifts to 5 families of policy beneficiaries, including: Hero of the Armed Forces Truong Duc Hai, in Dong Ha ward; Hero of the Armed Forces Le Thi Thanh, in Dong Ha ward; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, 81% disabled, in Nam Dong Ha ward; professional military major Do Thi Lan Huong, wife of Lieutenant Colonel, martyr Bui Phi Cong (died while on duty in October 2020 at Rao Trang 3 Hydropower Plant, Thua Thien Hue province), currently in Nam Dong Ha ward; Professional military lieutenant Nguyen Thi Giao Linh, wife of lieutenant colonel, martyr Pham Ngoc Quyet (died while on duty in October 2020 at Economic - Defense Group 337 - Military Region 4), currently living in Nam Dong Ha ward.

Visiting families with meritorious services, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation for the contributions of the families in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. At the same time, he affirmed that the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense always pays special attention to and cares for policy work, people with meritorious services to the revolution and hopes that through practical and meaningful activities, it will contribute to sharing and encouraging families to rise up in life.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien also hopes that families of policy beneficiaries and people with revolutionary contributions in Quang Tri province will always promote revolutionary traditions, be shining examples for future generations to learn from and follow, and contribute to building their homeland to develop more and more.
