On the morning of April 17, in Bac Giang province, within the framework of a survey trip to connect Thanh Hoa province's tourism with the provinces and cities of the extended Red River Delta (RD), comrade Nguyen Van Thi, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and the working delegation offered incense at Vinh Nghiem Pagoda and visited the Xuong Giang Victory Historical Site.

Visiting the historical site of the Xuong Giang victory - a place marking the victory of Chi Lang - Xuong Giang against the Ming invaders in the 15th century, the delegates expressed their gratitude and deep remembrance of the great contributions of Emperor Le Loi and the heroes and martyrs who participated in the battle.

The delegates in the delegation vow to promote the cultural and revolutionary traditions of their homeland and country, constantly study, cultivate and improve their moral qualities and working capacity, and excellently fulfill the tasks assigned by the Party, State and People.

Vinh Nghiem Pagoda, also known as Duc La Pagoda or Chuc Thanh Pagoda, is said to have been built during the Ly Dynasty and expanded to become a Buddhist center during the Tran Dynasty. The pagoda worships Buddha and the three founders of Truc Lam: Giac Hoang Dieu Ngu Tran Nhan Tong, Zen Master Phap Loa Dong Kien Cuong and Zen Master Huyen Quang Ly Dao Tai.

The pagoda also preserves many valuable artifacts such as worship statues, worship objects, horizontal lacquered boards... Most special is the woodblock collection that has been honored by UNESCO as a Documentary Heritage of Memory of Asia - Pacific .
