High-ranking delegation of the Korean Coast Guard Agency visited and paid a courtesy visit to Ninh Binh Provincial Police

On August 27, a high-ranking delegation of the Korean Coast Guard, led by Mr. Kim Jong Uk, Commander of the Korean Coast Guard, visited and paid a courtesy visit to the Ninh Binh Provincial Police. Accompanying the delegation was Colonel Nguyen Hoa Chi, Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Department of the Ministry of Public Security .

Receiving and working with the delegation were comrades: Colonel Dang Trong Cuong, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Director of the Provincial Police; Lieutenant Colonel Tran Xuan Phu, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police; representatives of leaders of a number of professional departments of the Provincial Police.

Speaking to the delegation, Colonel Dang Trong Cuong, Director of the Provincial Police Department, expressed his joy and excitement at welcoming the high-ranking delegation of the Korean Coast Guard. He also briefly informed the delegation about some highlights of the socio -economic development situation, security and order assurance work in the area, especially the activities of the Ninh Binh Provincial Police force in advising the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to direct all levels, sectors and people to participate in ensuring security and order in the area, effectively serving the socio-economic development task of the province and maintaining a peaceful life for the people.

The Provincial Police Director also introduced the economic-tourism development potential of Ninh Binh province with many famous landscapes, many ancient archaeological relics, places preserving the historical and cultural values of Vietnam and the world ...

Regarding the bilateral cooperation between Ninh Binh province and localities of South Korea, the Director of the Provincial Police emphasized: Ninh Binh province and Asan city government have signed a friendship and cooperation agreement; Ninh Binh city and Jecheon city have signed a twinning agreement, and at the same time, signed cooperation agreements on education and trade between local affiliated units.

In recent years, the cooperative relationship between Ninh Binh province and Asan city; between Ninh Binh city and Jecheon city has achieved important results, contributing to strengthening and consolidating the good friendship between Vietnam and Korea, promoting socio-economic development, promoting the image of nature, culture and people of Ninh Binh to the Korean people.

Promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, Ninh Binh province will continue to consolidate and strengthen the established friendly relations; at the same time, continue to expand deeper and broader relations with partners from Korea.

Speaking at the visit, Mr. Kim Jong Uk, Commander of the Korean Coast Guard, thanked the Ninh Binh Provincial Police for their warm, thoughtful and respectful reception of the delegation. Mr. Kim Jong Uk also shared more information about the country, people of Korea and the activities of the Korean Coast Guard in recent times; affirming that this visit to the Ninh Binh Provincial Police will further promote the friendly relationship between the two countries in general and between the Vietnamese Police force and the Korean Coast Guard in particular in the coming time.
