Private enterprises join hands to build the nation

(HTV) - More than 500 businesses attended the first Private Economic Panorama (ViPEL) program. The event demonstrated the spirit of "Public - Private cooperation to build the nation", affirming the accompanying role of the private business sector with the Government in the process of national development.

At the first Private Economic Panorama Program (ViPEL), many opinions said that with geopolitical advantages, the State's science and technology development policy and the dynamism of the private enterprise sector, Vietnam is facing a great opportunity to become a low-level economic center of the world, especially in large cities such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Tran Anh Tuan - Chairman and CEO of Vietnam UAV Network, said: "Since the Government's Resolutions 57, 68 and Decision 1131, along with Resolution 98 of Ho Chi Minh City allowing piloting of drones, the interactions between the Government and businesses have created great conditions for us to develop."

With the spirit of "three together": the State and enterprises have the same goal of nation building, working together, sharing responsibilities, enterprises, experts, and representatives of ministries and branches discussed and identified the "big problems" of the economy, and proposed public-private partnership models to maximize the exploitation of social resources. A number of business alliances were also formed, aiming to create a sustainable development ecosystem in key areas.

Mr. Nguyen Canh Hong - General Director of Eurowindow Joint Stock Company, said: "In our Committee 3, there has been an alliance between businesses, thereby creating collective strength and momentum for business development. The State is also building a policy mechanism on currency, land and business support".

The proposal to pilot the "Public-Private Partnership for Nation Building" cooperation model will open up opportunities and move towards a legal basis to allow the pilot implementation of difficult and new mechanisms such as: Applying specific mechanisms in selecting investors, assigning leadership to reputable domestic enterprises for national and local strategic projects, along with conditions on goals, responsibilities and transparent supervision.
