The temple is not massive or ostentatious, but the closer you get, the more impressive it becomes with its ancient, solemn atmosphere and, especially, the "stone" quality that permeates the architectural space.

According to historical documents, Phu Da Temple was formerly the private residence and villa of Lang Phuong Hau Nguyen Danh Thuong - a figure of high social standing in the 18th century. Despite numerous historical events, wars, and the ravages of time, Phu Da Temple has retained its basic architectural features almost intact.

From the system of artifacts...

...even the statues are made of stone with elaborate and exquisite carvings.

Stepping through the temple gate, visitors feel as if they have entered an open-air "stone museum." From the foundation stones, steps, and railings to the statues and religious artifacts, everything is crafted from solid blocks of green stone.

Although the carvings bear the marks of time, they still exude vibrancy, showcasing the high level of sculpting skill of the ancient artisans.

The sanctuary – the most sacred part of the temple – makes a strong impression with its tranquility and majesty.

For generations, this place has been a familiar space for religious activities, where people entrust their faith, pray for peace, favorable weather, and a prosperous life.

Today, Phu Da Temple not only attracts local people but is increasingly becoming an attractive destination for international tourists.

They were fascinated by photography, learning about history, and couldn't hide their amazement at the level of construction and sculpture achieved by the Vietnamese people hundreds of years ago.

Amidst the hustle and bustle of modern life, Phu Da Temple quietly stands as a necessary haven for people today to reconnect with their roots.
