Andre Onana has made a good impression since moving to the Turkish team. In 4 matches as a starter, the Cameroon goalkeeper has kept 2 clean sheets.

What impressed Trabzonspor coach Fatih Tekke was not only Onana's ball-catching ability but also his leadership qualities and quick adaptation to the new environment.

United's loan deal for Onana does not include an option or obligation to buy, but Trabzonspor are ready to discuss signing the 29-year-old goalkeeper on a long-term deal with the Red Devils.

The Turkish club are already paying Onana more than the £120,000-a-week he earns at Old Trafford, so agreeing personal terms is not a big deal.

However, it is still unclear whether MU will agree to cut their losses, or at least want to recover part of the 47 million pounds they paid Inter Milan in 2023 to get Onana's signature.

Trabzonspor are playing well and are ranked second in the Turkish championship. They hope to maintain their form to compete for the title with other "big guys" such as Galatasaray, Fenerbahce or Besiktas.

Since arriving in Türkiye, Andre Onana has decided not to relocate his entire family. His wife has remained in Manchester to look after the children.

Recently, Andre Onana was praised for his 50m assist, helping his teammate score against Gaziantep.

For the past two seasons, he has been the number 1 goalkeeper of MU. However, now Onana has lost his position, when Ruben Amorim wants to put his trust in Altay Bayindir and especially the new player Senne Lammens.
