Innovation, improving the quality of investment promotion

With the goal of turning the province into an industrial center of the country, the province pays special attention to investment promotion (IPP), which is implemented synchronously and effectively, in line with the viewpoints and orientations of the Central Government. IPP activities focus on investment support, removing difficulties for businesses, demonstrating the connection between the government and businesses, and being a "bridge" to strengthen cooperation and connection between businesses, towards the sustainable development of the province.

Closely following the Central Government's guidelines and orientations, the province has implemented investment promotion work in association with the development of digital economy , green economy, promoting innovation, digital transformation, application of science and technology, promoting growth and long-term competitiveness; creating connections and spillovers between the foreign direct investment (FDI) sector and the domestic economic sector (DDI) to promote private economic development to participate deeply and effectively in the global value chain.

Proactively propose practical, effective and suitable support policies and solutions, ensuring the interests of existing investors, maintaining the competitiveness and attractiveness of the province's investment environment.

The province also closely coordinates with central ministries and branches to promptly update and implement investment attraction mechanisms and policies, and grasp domestic and foreign investment trends.

In 2025, the province will implement investment promotion work based on 5 main contents: Building image, introducing the environment, policies, potentials, investment opportunities in the province and connecting investment; supporting and facilitating investment activities; building information systems and databases to serve investment promotion activities; strengthening training, coaching, improving investment promotion capacity; domestic and international cooperation on investment promotion.

In the first 5 months of 2025, the province organized investment promotion delegations to key markets such as Japan, Korea, Taiwan, India, UAE...; actively participated in and coordinated the preparation of content for many investment promotion conferences and seminars inside and outside the province; diversified information channels to promote investment promotion, built and completed videos promoting the province's investment environment in 5 popular languages.

Regularly organize dialogues with businesses, receive and work with many foreign investors and international organizations coming to learn about investment opportunities in the province such as Japan, Korea, China, etc.; maintain and upgrade the investment promotion information page, complete the construction and publication of documents serving the province's investment promotion work.

In the first 5 months of 2025, the province granted new licenses to 18 projects and adjusted capital increases for 22 FDI projects with a total newly granted and increased investment capital of more than 218.2 million USD; granted new licenses to 11 projects and adjusted capital increases for 17 DDI projects with a total newly granted and increased investment capital of more than 4,202 billion VND.

Up to now, the whole province has 1,329 projects, including 487 FDI projects with a total investment capital of more than 8.6 billion USD; 842 DDI projects with a total investment capital of nearly 148 trillion VND.

In order to continue innovating and improving the effectiveness of investment promotion based on the orientation of investment cooperation, science and technology development, innovation, and green growth of the Central Government and the province in association with the implementation of socio-economic development goals, the province focuses on prioritizing attracting projects with high technology content, modern management, high added value, ensuring the participation of domestic enterprises in the value chain.

Proactively approach and introduce direct investment cooperation opportunities with partners; strengthen online investment promotion channels and apply digital technology in searching and selecting partners.

Continue to maintain traditional partner markets, focus on attracting investment from countries with high technology, source technology, and are members of multilateral Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) with Vietnam such as the United States, the European Union, Japan, South Korea, China, etc.

At the same time, build and complete a database of domestic enterprises capable of cooperating in production and business, supplying raw materials, manufacturing components and accessories in the supporting industry to widely inform foreign investors to access and connect; develop an information system on the labor market, support enterprises in attracting, training and recruiting high-quality workers...
