With the attention of local Party committees and authorities and the efforts of the team ofeducators , education and training in Moc Chau district have had positive and comprehensive changes at all levels of education, the quality of mass education has been maintained and consolidated, and key education has been improved.

In the 2023-2024 school year, Moc Chau district has 43 school units; including 21 kindergartens, 3 primary schools, 2 junior high schools, 14 primary and secondary schools, 3 secondary and secondary boarding schools for ethnic minorities; there are 6 units under the Department of Education and Training located in the area with 1,145 groups/classes, a total of 34,677 students. The whole district has 1,195 solid classrooms, 442 semi-solid classrooms, 54 subject classrooms, 58 libraries, 39 laboratories, 275 student boarding rooms, 201 teacher service rooms and 164 other functional rooms.
Mr. Ngo Ngoc Toan, Head of the Department of Education and Training of Moc Chau district, informed: The Department directs schools to continue implementing the goals of fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training. Promote the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in conjunction with the campaign and emulation movement "Each teacher is a model of morality, self-study and creativity", "Innovation and creativity in management, teaching and learning". Implement well the contents and requirements of the 2018 preschool and general education programs; direct the organization of teaching and learning activities in the direction of developing students' qualities and capacities; fulfill commitments and transfer quality between levels of education; focus on solutions to improve the quality of mass education and key education; ethnic education.
8-4 Secondary School, Moc Chau Farm Town is a bright spot in the district's educational work. The school arranges a team of teachers with the right expertise and capacity; creates conditions for teachers to study and improve their professional qualifications. In the 2022-2023 school year, the school was awarded the Flag by the Provincial People's Committee for leading the emulation movement of primary and secondary schools.
Teacher Luong Van Linh, Principal of 8-4 Secondary School, said: In the 2023-2024 school year, the school has 20 classes with 857 students. The Board of Directors directed subject teachers to actively innovate teaching methods, helping students absorb knowledge most effectively. Implement differentiated teaching according to student groups, with each group of students having appropriate teaching content and methods, helping students have good cognitive ability and develop their abilities.
As the leading unit in the emulation movement of preschools in the province, in the 2023-2024 school year, Chieng Hac Kindergarten, Chieng Hac commune, Moc Chau district continues to implement the topic "Building a child-centered preschool in the period of 2021-2025"; paying attention to children in difficult circumstances, children with disabilities in integrated learning, expanding the number of preschool children participating in getting acquainted with English. Teacher Do Thi Mai Yen, Principal, informed: This school year, the school has 17 groups and classes with 445 children. The school organizes child care and education to meet the requirements of innovation in preschool education programs; focusing on life skills education, local history education, and letting children participate in experiential activities.
Through the assessment of the 2022-2023 school year and the first semester of the 2023-2024 school year, Moc Chau district's education and training has achieved many encouraging results, the quality of key education and mass education has been focused on, ensuring quality; there are 351 excellent students at the provincial level, 33/49 national standard schools, 100% of 5-year-old children go to school, 100% of 6-year-old children enter grade 1. Implement and maintain the results of achieving universal education and illiteracy eradication standards in the area to ensure progress and effectiveness; 15/15 communes and towns maintain the standards of universal education for 5-year-old preschool children; achieve the standards of universal primary and secondary education at level 3; achieving level 2 literacy standards. In particular, the application of information technology in management and teaching has become a key breakthrough task, helping teachers and students access modern educational program content and methods in the fastest way.
With the constant efforts of the team of educators, the education and training career of Moc Chau district has had a strong change, the quality of education is increasingly improved, contributing to the development of quality human resources for the locality.
