On the evening of July 10, at the Ponagar Tower relic site (Northern Nha Trang Ward), the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province held a ceremony to announce and receive two titles of especially important cultural heritage. This event is not only a source of pride for the people of Khanh Hoa but also a milestone marking traditional cultural values that are recognized and honored at the national level.
According to the Prime Minister 's decision, Ponagar Tower has been officially ranked as a special national monument - the highest classification in the national monument system. This is an important step forward from the national architectural and artistic monument recognized in 1979.

The Ponagar Tower relic was built between the 8th and 13th centuries, and still preserves 14 royal decrees and 28 inscriptions on steles along with many rare artifacts. In particular, the statue of goddess Ponagar/Thien YA Na is considered the pinnacle of sculpture art, reflecting the unique cultural identity of the Cham people.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Nam emphasized: "Through the process of cultural exchange, interweaving and continuity of national history, the Po Nagar Tower relic contains typical values of the two Cham - Vietnamese ethnic groups through the image of the goddess Po Nagar/Thien YA Na - Holy Mother of the Motherland, has become the center of Mother worship of the provinces in the South Central region".

Mr. Tran Quoc Nam also said that the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has invested in researching and developing two art programs "Sparkling Agarwood Land" and "Moon Reflecting on the Tower", which are performed periodically on the 1st and 15th of the lunar month, attracting a large number of people and tourists.
At the ceremony, "Knowledge of exploiting and processing Khanh Hoa Agarwood" was also included in the list of national intangible cultural heritage by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee shared: "Khanh Hoa has long been known as the 'land of agarwood' with a famous brand nationwide. Currently, in the province, there are many craft villages, cooperatives, and craft groups specializing in producing agarwood products such as agarwood incense, agarwood bracelets, agarwood statues, agarwood essential oil... Many products have achieved national OCOP quality certification, affirming the Khanh Hoa agarwood brand in the domestic and international markets".

Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province, said: "This is an honor and pride for the Party Committee and people of Khanh Hoa province to receive two national cultural heritage titles. We will continue to research and propose specific solutions to preserve and promote more effectively traditional cultural values."
This event not only contributes to preserving and promoting the value of cultural heritage but also creates momentum to promote sustainable tourism development, build a unique cultural brand of Khanh Hoa province, affirming the position of "Khanh Hoa - a land of sublime cultural heritage".
