From July 9, 2025, the name of Social Insurance Region II will be changed to Social Insurance of Son La province, address: No. 22, Hoang Quoc Viet street, Chieng Coi ward, Son La province. The management area is according to the commune-level administrative unit, including the wards: To Hieu, Chieng An, Chieng Coi, Chieng Sinh.

Regarding the name change of the district-level social insurance units: Bac Yen district social insurance becomes Bac Yen grassroots social insurance. Address: Bac Yen commune, Son La province. Management area of communes: Bac Yen, Ta Xua, Ta Khoa, Xim Vang, Pac Nga, Chieng Sai.

Mai Son District Social Insurance changed its name to Mai Son Social Insurance. Address: Mai Son Commune, Son La Province. Management area of communes: Chieng Mai, Mai Son, Phieng Pan, Chieng Mung, Phieng Cam, Muong Chanh, Ta Hoc, Chieng Sung.

Moc Chau Town Social Insurance changed its name to Moc Chau Social Insurance. Address: Moc Chau Ward, Son La Province. Management area: Moc Chau Ward, Moc Son, Van Son, Thao Nguyen and communes: Doan Ket, Long Sap, Chieng Son, Tan Yen.
