Coach Vlatko Andonovski has officially announced the list of 23 American players participating in the 2023 Women's World Cup finals. Restaurants and bars in the US capital will be allowed to open 24/7 during the World Cup.

Along with Morgan, 37-year-old veteran Megan Rapinoe is still included in the list by Coach Vlatko Andonovski.
At the tournament in France 4 years ago, Megan Rapinoe scored 6 goals, sharing with Ellen White (England) and teammate Alex Morgan the 2019 Women's World Cup Top Scorer award.
In that tournament, the veteran striker also won the Best Player award.

According to the match schedule, the match between the defending champion and the rookie team Vietnam will take place on July 22 at Eden Park (Aucland, New Zealand).
Next, the US team will face two other teams in Group E, runner-up Netherlands (July 27) and Portugal (August 1).
* The US capital Washington Council on June 20 approved a proposal to allow restaurants and bars in the city to open 24/7 during the 2023 Women's World Cup, a tournament in which the country is the defending champion.
Under the proposal, bars and restaurants that want to extend their hours would have to pay a $100 fee. They would be allowed to serve alcohol up to 10 p.m., except between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m. local time.
Previously, a similar proposal was also approved during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar to serve football fans.
The 2023 Women's World Cup will take place from July 20 to August 20 in Australia and New Zealand. This year's tournament will pit the United States against Vietnam, Portugal and the Netherlands, the world runners-up.
