NDO - With a brilliant victory at the VEX V5 category Finals of the VEX Robotics 2025 Vietnam National Championship, GreenAms Robotics Team 36070N of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted has been selected to participate in the VEX Robotics 2025 World Championship - VEX Robotics World Championship taking place in the US next May.
The Vietnam VEX Robotics National Championship 2025 is an international standard STEM Robotics playground, contributing to promoting the development of STEMeducation nationwide.
Through designing, manufacturing, programming and competing robots, students not only practice creative thinking, problem-solving skills, teamwork skills, and nurture their passion for science and technology , but also have the opportunity to exchange and learn with domestic and international friends, broaden their horizons and assert themselves in the global STEM arena.
The final round of the VEX V5 category of the VEX Robotics 2025 Vietnam National Championship attracted nearly 300 students from 31 teams nationwide, who successfully passed the regional rounds nationwide, to continue to select the best teams to represent Vietnam to participate in the VEX Robotics 2025 World Championship.
Ms. Tran Thuy Duong, Principal of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, said that this was the second time the school sent a team to participate in this tournament. Due to experience from last year, this year the school's team was established 4 months before the official competition date.
In a short period of time, with the encouragement and facilitation of the school's Board of Directors, with the students' spirit of continuous efforts and the guidance of the team's teacher Pham Vu Bich Hang, the team members enthusiastically studied and researched to design and assemble robots, complete technical documents, practice skills and competition tactics.

This year's GreenAms Robotics Team consists of 13 members: Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted: Ngo Thuy Duong, Phung Tan Dat, Nguyen Ngoc Khanh Anh, Nguyen Ngoc Huy Anh (Math major); Pham Quang Vu; Bang Hoang Long, Vu Phuc Bao Minh, Cong Doan Thanh Phong (Physics major); Nguyen Huy Thach (IT major); Do Huy Kim (English major); Pham Vuong Quoc Anh (Class 9E); Trinh Tai Anh (Viet Duc High School); Nguyen Nhat Nam Anh (Doan Thi Diem High School).
This year's competition includes: Automatic Robot Skills Competition; Student-Driven Robot Competition; Alliance Robot Competition; Technical Handbook Competition (NoteBook) and Interview Competition.
GreenAms Robotics Team 36070N demonstrated smart, decisive, and courageous competition tactics, winning each round to win the League Championship; and also achieved Excellent results in all other categories to win the Excellence award.
These are the two biggest prizes in the VEX Robotics National Championship 2025 in the VEX V5 category. The team will represent Vietnamese students to compete in the VEX Robotics World Championship 2025 - VEX Robotics World Championship taking place in the US in May 2025.
Teacher in charge of the team Pham Vu Bich Hang shared: Being able to represent Vietnamese students to participate in the VEX Robotics World Championship 2025 is not only an opportunity for students to study and compete in Robotics with the highest standards, but also helps students gain more valuable experiences, practice their bravery and confidence in an international integration environment.

“This event is also important for Vietnamese students in general and Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted in particular in connecting education with the application of technology, improving the efficiency and quality of human resource training for the country. I believe that when students participate in an international playground in May in the United States, it will inspire the STEM movement of Vietnamese students, while promoting the image of the country in the international arena,” Ms. Pham Vu Bich Hang emphasized.
Previously, in the VEX IQ Category of the VEX Robotics 2025 National Championship for secondary school students taking place from February 22-23 in Hanoi, the GreenAms Robotics team also won a place to participate in the VEX Robotics World Championship.
The VEX Robotics National Championship 2025 is organized by the STEM Education Promotion Alliance - SEPA; Hanoi University of Science and Technology - HUST; Center for Science and Technology Development Support - CENSTED and Vovinam Digital Joint Stock Company - Vovinam Digital.
