The contestant who brought home the prestigious Gold Medal this year was Do Hai Long, a student at the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology. Long won the MOS Word 365 Apps competition. The Bronze Medal winner for the Vietnamese team was Luong Son Tung, a student at the Foreign Trade University, in the competition: MOS Excel 365 Apps.
Do Hai Long's journey to become a world champion began in 11th grade. The first time he entered the competition, Long won the national third prize in MOS Word 2016. After four years of persistent preparation and a total of three attempts, Long made his dream come true when he raised the Vietnamese flag in the United States.

Sharing his feelings about becoming the champion of MOS Word 365 Apps content this year, Long excitedly said: "I was very surprised and touched when I heard my name associated with the Gold Medal. This achievement is the "sweet fruit" after my continuous efforts since the first competition and will be the motivation for me to try harder and strive in the future."
Meanwhile, the owner of one of this year's World Bronze Medals, Luong Son Tung, has also had two consecutive years of experience competing. After winning the National Second Prize in his first year and missing the opportunity to participate in the World Finals, Tung was determined to practice to achieve better results this year.
According to comrade Tran Huu, Director of the Center for Science, Technology and Young Talent Development (Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union ), representative of the national organizing committee of the competition, in the context that each competition has only one set of Gold-Silver-Bronze medals, this year's achievement of the Vietnamese team is extremely proud.

Besides, in the context that digital transformation is no longer just an option but has become an inevitable path to realize the aspiration of reaching national heights, the above success is one of the provisions that young people really need to have to have a broad path to success when joining the global workforce in the digital age.
"This is not only an affirmation of the excellent abilities of Vietnamese candidates, but also shows that generations of Vietnamese students in recent years have been equipped with international standard IT knowledge and skills to master technology and confidently compete with peers from many countries with developed technology," said comrade Tran Huu.
