Vietnam team enters the final of Da Nang International Fireworks Festival for the first time

On the afternoon of June 29, the Organizing Committee of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2025) announced the two fireworks teams entering the finals. For the first time, the Vietnamese team has the opportunity to become one of the two best teams of DIFF.

The fireworks final will take place on the evening of July 12 between Jiangxi Yanfeng team representing China (competing first) and Z121 Vina Pyrotech team ( Ministry of Defense ) representing Vietnam.

The scoring of the 10 qualifying teams was conducted by artists, art experts and consulting unit Global 2000 Company, based on the originality, design ideas and performance themes; creativity, diversity and richness of effects and color intensity; choice of music , synchronization between music and performance; ending and quality of performance; emotion and evaluation of the judges.

Z121 Vina Pyrotech's performance was highly appreciated for its pyrotechnics, new and unique pyrotechnic effects, engaging storytelling and deep, emotional musical arrangements.

In particular, DIFF 2025 is the first year that two Vietnamese teams will compete, in addition to Z121 Vina Pyrotech participating for the first time, there is also the host team Da Nang City (City Military Command).

Among them, team Z121 Vina Pyrotech (Chemical Company 21, General Department of Defense Industry, Ministry of Defense) with more than 50 years of experience in fireworks production, represented Vietnam for the first time in the DIFF finals, since the festival took place in 2008.

The performances of the two teams Z121 Vina Pyrotech and Jiangxi Yanfeng China are considered two breakthrough performances, harmoniously combining high technology and distinct cultural identity, while expressing the spirit of the general theme of DIFF 2025: "Da Nang - New Era".

The judges assessed Z121 Vina Pyrotech as having a modern and creative performance style. The performance "Aspiration to Rise" recreated the proud development journey of Da Nang - from heroic memories to aspirations to reach out to the world.

The meticulousness in the layout and the precise coordination of each beat of the music by the Chinese team made a strong impression on the audience and the judges.

Z121 Vina Pyrotech's opponent in the final match is Jiangxi Yanfeng team - a representative from China and also the current runner-up of DIFF 2024. Returning this season with the desire to conquer the highest position, the Chinese team affirmed their class in the third qualifying round with a creative performance called "Journey to the West".

Using fireworks researched and produced by itself, Jiangxi Yanfeng made a strong impression with its characteristic multi-layered color transition effect, flexible, brilliant and captivating like a mythical film with light - a fireworks display that affirms the mettle of a leading fireworks power in Asia.

During the final night, each team will receive nearly 7,000 fireworks from the organizers and create a performance with the theme "Welcoming the new era".
