
The "hundred rice offering" festival is a traditional festival held to honor and preserve the unique cultural values of the Bh'noong people, contributing to tourism development and community cohesion.
The "hundred rice offering" festival is meaningful in the spiritual life of the Gie Trieng people in Phuoc Xuan commune. This is an opportunity for people to express their gratitude to the "rice god", pray for a bountiful harvest, and share joy and prosperity with the whole village.

The ceremony took place with many rich traditional activities, from solemn worship rituals to traditional folk games. People from Lao Du village, where the festival was held, and other villages of Phuoc Xuan commune, wearing colorful traditional costumes, fully reenacted the worship ceremony imbued with the identity of the Bh'noong people.
During this event, people of Phuoc Xuan commune also participated in a competition to display cultural artifacts, recreate the weaving profession; organize folk sports activities and perform traditional cuisine.


Mr. Ho Cong Diem - Vice Chairman of Phuoc Son District People's Committee affirmed that the festival is not only an opportunity for people to remember their roots and show gratitude to their ancestors, but also an opportunity to introduce and promote the unique traditional cultural values of the Bhnoong people to tourists inside and outside the province.

On this occasion, leaders of Dak Glei District People's Committee ( Kon Tum Province) visited and presented 30 gifts to Lao Du villagers. Representatives of Cam Le District Farmers' Association (Da Nang City) presented 6 gifts to 6 farmer members of Lao Du village.
