(GLO)- On the morning of August 11, Ia Boong Commune Party Committee solemnly held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term with the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Efficiency". Comrade Nguyen Tuan Anh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended and directed the Congress.

Attending the Congress were leaders of a number of provincial agencies and units; former local leaders of different periods and 125 delegates representing 497 party members of 34 grassroots party organizations under the Commune Party Committee.

Ia Boong commune was established on the basis of merging 3 communes: Ia Boong (old), Ia Me, Ia O. In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee, government and people of the 3 communes have united, united, proactively and strived to carry out their tasks and achieved many important results.

The Congress focused its intelligence, set out goals, targets, and breakthrough, practical solutions to successfully carry out the tasks of the Party Committee of the commune in the 2025-2030 term, with the determination to build Ia Boong to develop quickly and sustainably.

Accordingly, the Commune Party Committee strives for an average annual growth rate of total product value of 9%; average income per capita by 2030 to increase by 40% compared to 2025; by 2030, the poverty rate according to multidimensional poverty standards will decrease to below 4%; the rate of population participating in health insurance will reach 93%; annually, the rate of grassroots party organizations completing their tasks well will reach 95%.

The Congress announced the decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Ia Boong Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Accordingly, the Commune Party Executive Committee consists of 25 comrades, comrade Vu Dinh Hanh was appointed to hold the position of Commune Party Committee Secretary.

Speaking at the Congress, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Anh acknowledged and commended the efforts and results that the Party Committee, government and people of the three former communes, now Ia Boong commune, have achieved.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that in the coming time, the Party Committee, government and people in the commune need to focus on effectively implementing the proposed solutions; especially exploiting the potential and advantages of the locality and attracting investment to promote socio -economic development, effectively implementing poverty reduction work in ethnic minority areas, improving the material and spiritual life of the people.

Along with that, preserve and promote national cultural identity; promote the spirit of self-reliance, self-strengthening and solidarity in the political system as well as among the people to join hands and unite to build the locality to develop more and more.
