At the National Martyrs' Cemetery on Road 9, there was the participation of the alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Long Hai; at the Ba Doc Martyrs' Cemetery, there was the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang; at the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, there was the member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Chien Thang. Also attending at the martyrs' cemeteries and the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel were members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Committee of the People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; leaders of relevant departments, branches, sectors, organizations, armed forces, localities and a large number of union members and youth.

At the National Martyrs' Cemetery of Road 9, the Ba Doc Martyrs' Cemetery and the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province simultaneously rang the bell to announce the souls of the heroic martyrs, offered flowers and incense to the main monument and observed a minute of silence to commemorate the outstanding children who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
Quang Tri - a land bearing the mark of tragic history, where every inch of land is associated with stories of sacrifice and loss. In the struggle for national liberation and reunification, tens of thousands of outstanding sons of the Fatherland have forever remained on this land. The sacrifice of the AHLS has become a symbol of patriotism and the resilient spirit of the nation.

In recognition of such great contributions, with the morality of “remembering the source of water”, in recent years, Quang Tri province has always paid attention to and cared for the resting places of heroic Vietnamese mothers, war invalids, sick soldiers, and families of policy beneficiaries.

After the ceremony at the main monument, the provincial leaders and delegates lit incense on the graves of the heroic martyrs. Each grave is a story, a life that has fallen for a noble ideal. The Party Committee, government and people of Quang Tri in particular, and the whole country in general, vow to strive and unite to build the country and homeland to be more and more prosperous, worthy of the merits and sacrifices of the heroic martyrs, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, war invalids, sick soldiers, and those who have contributed to the country and have devoted their whole lives to the cause of national liberation and national reunification.

Tens of thousands of candles of gratitude were lit by young people at the graves, carrying the infinite respect and gratitude of today's generation towards those who sacrificed for the Fatherland.
The AHLS will forever be a shining symbol, a bright torch guiding everyone to constantly strive to work, study, contribute, and build the homeland to develop more and more.
