According to the Dong Nai Provincial Department of Finance, in 2025, the province's domestic budget revenue reached over 78,600 billion VND, equivalent to 161% of the central government's projected target and 149% of the provincial People's Council's projected target. Notably, 15 out of 17 revenue targets were met or exceeded, including revenue from foreign-invested enterprises reaching nearly 17,900 billion VND; the non-state industrial and commercial sector reaching nearly 12,000 billion VND; and personal income tax exceeding 9,600 billion VND.

Revenue from import and export activities reached over 22,700 billion VND, achieving 105% of the projected target. As a result, local budgets received over 59,000 billion VND according to the revenue sharing ratio, reaching 178% of the projected target; of which, the provincial budget received over 58,000 billion VND.

According to the Dong Nai Tax Department, the 2025 revenue target was met and exceeded, creating an important foundation for the 2026 budget revenue collection. Besides the stable economic growth, several unexpected revenue streams from real estate project transfers, land use rights auctions, tax inspections and audits, and the adjustment of land prices according to the 2024 Land Law have contributed to the increased revenue.

In the import and export sector, trade turnover increased sharply in several product groups such as metals, plastic products, and electrical wires and cables, thereby increasing state budget revenue in 2025 by more than 1,400 billion VND compared to the previous year.

Entering 2026, the first year of implementing the socio-economic development plan for the period 2026-2030, Dong Nai province aims to collect over 100,000 billion VND in state budget revenue. The Dong Nai Provincial People's Council has requested that departments and agencies implement comprehensive solutions to combat revenue loss and effectively manage new revenue sources, especially in the fields of e-commerce and digital platform businesses.

Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, Nguyen Van Ut, affirmed that the 2025 budget revenue results reflect the great efforts of the entire political system in the context of a newly merged province facing many difficulties and heavy responsibilities.

Chairman Nguyen Van Ut requested that all sectors continue to unlock resources and strive to achieve higher revenue levels in 2026, contributing to the successful realization of the province's development goals.
