Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee decided to lease more than 4.5 hectares of land to VAECO to invest in the construction investment project and aircraft maintenance service business for component project 4, Long Thanh airport.
On March 6, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province issued a decision to lease land to the Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (VAECO) to carry out the investment project to build and operate aircraft maintenance services No. 1 at Long Thanh airport (Binh Son commune, Long Thanh district).

Specifically, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province decided to lease more than 4.5 hectares of land to VAECO for the purpose of transport works land to implement the investment project to build and operate aircraft maintenance services No. 1, Long Thanh airport. The land use term is until December 31, 2050. The form of land lease is that the State leases land and collects annual land rent, the price to calculate the land rent payable is 2.3 million VND/m2.
Previously, at the end of 2024, VAECO and the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam signed an investment contract for the construction and maintenance service project No. 1 of Long Thanh airport. This is a project under component project 4, the investment project to build Long Thanh airport phase 1.
The project is designed with a scale to ensure simultaneous maintenance of 2 code E aircraft and 2 code C aircraft along with complete ancillary works and technical infrastructure.
Component project 4, including other works, is chaired by the Ministry of Transport (now the Ministry of Construction ) to select investors (cargo terminal, cargo warehouse, aircraft cleaning area, ground equipment maintenance area, in-flight catering area...).
Currently, many projects are selecting contractors to complete on time.
