Dong Nai province has 12 fireworks display locations for the April 30th holiday.

(Dong Nai) - On April 20, the Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 205/KH-UBND on organizing activities to commemorate the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026) and the 136th anniversary of the birth of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026).

Accordingly, Dong Nai will organize 12 fireworks displays to celebrate on April 30th. Specifically, high-altitude fireworks will be launched from 9 PM to 9:15 PM in Tran Bien Ward and Binh Phuoc Ward.

Low-altitude fireworks display (90 sets) from 9 PM to 9:15 PM in 10 newly recognized wards, including: Trang Bom, Long Thanh, Tri An, Nhon Trach, Tan Khai, Xuan Loc, Tan Phu, Loc Ninh, Dau Giay, and Dong Phu.

The funding for the fireworks displays is raised through social mobilization efforts by the People's Committees of the respective wards.

Besides the fireworks display, the evening of April 30th also featured an art program commemorating the 51st anniversary of the liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country, and the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday. Tran Bien Ward and Binh Phuoc Ward (a teleconference connecting five locations, including Tran Bien Ward, Binh Phuoc Ward, two new wards (one in Northern Dong Nai and one in Southern Dong Nai), and the Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio & Television studio) participated in the event.

For the fireworks display locations designated by the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Military Command will take the lead in coordinating with the Provincial Police, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Tran Bien Ward, Binh Phuoc Ward, and other relevant agencies and units.

The People's Committees of the communes and wards assigned to organize fireworks displays will coordinate with the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Police, and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to review and propose suitable fireworks display locations, ensuring safety, security, and public order.
