Dong Nai completes data on over 2.66 million land parcels.

On May 26th, Le Thanh Tuan, Director of the City's Land Registration Office, stated that as of now, Dong Nai province has built approximately 2.66 million land parcels into its land database system, reaching over 96% of the total number of land parcels in the entire province. The remaining land parcels are mainly linear land parcels such as: transportation land, rivers, streams, and specialized water bodies.

Currently, the land database system is centrally stored at the Information Technology Center under the Department of Agriculture and Environment; specialized agencies, the Land Registration Office, and the People's Committees at the commune level are authorized to access, update, and revise the data regularly.

However, because the data is generated through multiple stages, according to different regulations and converted from various software platforms, some limitations still exist, such as: duplicate information about land users; lack of synchronization between spatial and attribute data; missing scanned records; errors in personal information, addresses, or legal documents.
