Dong Nai: Reclaiming more than 482 hectares of land to build Ring Road 4

The Ring Road 4 project in Ho Chi Minh City is nearly 47km long, passing through 5 districts: Vinh Cuu, Trang Bom, Thong Nhat, Long Thanh and Cam My, invested in the form of public-private partnership (PPP) with a total estimated capital of more than 26,000 billion VND.

The project is divided into two component projects: site clearance (over 10,000 billion VND) and construction (over 16,000 billion VND), in which the state budget contributes over 14,000 billion VND (over 10,000 billion VND for site clearance and about 4,000 billion VND for construction).

To implement the project, Dong Nai province must reclaim more than 482 hectares of land and arrange resettlement for nearly 1,700 households whose land was reclaimed to implement the project.

Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to ensure capital of more than VND 10,000 billion for site clearance; the Department of Construction coordinated with investors to re-establish detailed implementation plans, guide localities to adjust related planning and ensure material supply and waste disposal locations; the Department of Industry and Trade was directed to proactively relocate the project's technical infrastructure.

* Bao Loc City People's Committee (Lam Dong province) has announced the recovery of a total of 9,738m2 from Lam Dong Tea Joint Stock Company, Center for Seeds and Agricultural Materials, Ngoc Bao Tea Joint Stock Company, Lam Dong Industrial Construction Company Limited to deploy the construction of residential areas serving the two expressway projects Tan Phu - Bao Loc and Bao Loc - Lien Khuong passing through Bao Loc City (total length of about 140km).

This is the first resettlement area in the province to be implemented with a budget of 15 billion VND to serve the above 2 highway projects. The resettlement area will be invested in completing the 170m long internal road, 8m wide road surface, along with lighting system, fire fighting water supply system, auxiliary works...

Regarding the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway project (phase 1) which has been approved with a length of 73.6km and a total investment of more than 17,700 billion VND, Duc Trong, Di Linh, Bao Lam districts and Bao Loc city where the road passes are urgently preparing to place stakes and receive handover of stakes for site clearance, road boundary markers, measurement, and counting of crops and livestock... to serve the work of compensation and site clearance.
