According to the report of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, to date, the Provincial People's Committee has granted mining licenses to 8 landfill material mines, with a total reserve of more than 4.5 million m³. In addition, after completing land lease procedures in the Tam Phuoc - Phuoc Tan mining cluster, stone mining enterprises will recover about 1 million m³ of soil. This volume is enough to supply for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project.
Regarding construction stone, the Provincial People's Committee has allocated more than 1 million m³ for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project sub-component 1, of which about 85% have been contracted. The sub-component 2 sub-component has allocated more than 690,000 m³, of which about 66% have been contracted. The investors continue to request an additional 630,000 m³.
In the coming time, the Department of Agriculture and Environment will coordinate with mining enterprises and investors to unify the allocation of construction stone volume from mines that apply special mechanisms, ensuring sufficient supply for the project.
For the Long Thanh International Airport Project, the Provincial People's Committee has allocated more than 3 million m³ of stone, but the actual supply capacity of the mines has only reached about 57%, still lacking more than 1.4 million m³. The reason is that some stone mines are currently stuck with investment certificates, land, etc., so they are not qualified to increase their specific capacity.
Regarding other key projects in the province, the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway Expansion Project needs about 415 thousand m3 of rock from now until the end of the year, and has so far arranged 230 thousand m3. The Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 Project (section from Thu Bien Bridge to Saigon River) needs more than 18.5 thousand m3 of rock, and the expected supply has been determined.
In addition to projects in the province, a number of project management boards of other provinces and investors of key projects in the South also requested Dong Nai to support the distribution of about 2.5 million m³ of materials.
Regarding legal procedures for quarries, the Department of Agriculture and Environment is advising the province to process 1 application for adjusting land use term and 1 application for changing land use purpose.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang emphasized: Removing legal obstacles and allocating materials for key projects in the South continues to be a task that the province pays attention to and regularly directs.
The provincial People's Committee leader requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment to closely monitor the results of the province's allocation, proactively coordinate with the project management board, contractors, and mine owners to promptly make adjustments when necessary. Review the mines applying specific mechanisms to have a plan for continued implementation.
Project management boards shall adjust the volume and type of materials to each contractor if necessary. The provincial police, the Department of Construction, and the Department of Industry and Trade shall coordinate closely to ensure that materials are distributed to the correct project.
