From now until the end of the year, the Association of War Veterans of Can Tho City will focus on thoroughly grasping and studying the resolutions, directives and regulations of the Party, the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Association of War Veterans, the programs and plans of the City Party Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city; propagandizing and competing to achieve achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the 15th Congress of the Can Tho City Party Committee, term 2025-2030, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; coordinating with the Party Committees of communes and wards to perfect the executive committee, standing committee, inspection committee and the position of president of the Association of War Veterans of communes and wards... The Association of War Veterans of the city will focus on leading and directing the preparation of contents, documents, personnel and organization of the Congress of War Veterans at all levels; In coordination with the Propaganda and Movement Department, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association organized a seminar on "Improving capacity, changing awareness and thinking in building new rural areas, period 2021-2025" for the Veterans Associations of the southern provinces and cities. On this occasion, the City Veterans Association informed about the Association's activities in July and August; guided the organization of the Congress of Veterans Associations at all levels, term 2025-2030; announced decisions to perfect the Emulation and Reward Council, establish emulation clusters under the City Veterans Association; guided the emulation and reward work, launched and signed emulation covenants in the emulation movement "Exemplary Veterans" in 2025.
