Although the opening ceremony did not start until 6 p.m., from 4 p.m., crowds of visitors had arrived at Van Thanh tourist area (Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City) to experience the Saigontourist Group 2024 Food and Culture Festival.

This is the festival that has been voted the Best Food Festival in Asia 2022 and 2023 by the World Food Awards for two consecutive years; and is also the first Vietnamese food festival to receive the award "Best Food Festival in the World 2023".
Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Van Dung - Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Mr. Tran Trong Dung - Vice Chairman of Vietnam Journalists Association and representatives of provinces, cities and partners.

In its return with a larger scale and more impressive in both content and form of presentation, the Saigontourist Group 2024 Food and Culture Festival continues to be a place where the culinary quintessence of the three regions converges by famous culinary brands from 4-5 star hotels, resorts, and restaurants belonging to Saigontourist Group and its partners.
Right from the entrance, the festival makes a strong impression on visitors by recreating a rustic, close-to-home rural market space using environmentally friendly materials. Art performances, cultural exchanges, folk games, and reenactments of traditional craft village activities are also attractions for domestic and foreign visitors.

Mr. Truong Duc Hung, General Director of Saigontourist Group, shared that, in addition to the goal of stimulating domestic tourism, diversifying tourism products in Ho Chi Minh City and promoting Vietnamese culinary culture, the Saigontourist Group Food and Culture Festival is also oriented to become an international event, as this event has quickly affirmed itself through prestigious international awards. Before the opening day to the public, the festival sold 10,000 tickets, demonstrating the appeal of this most unique culinary festival in the world.
"In its third return to the public, the festival will have many interactive activities for visitors, such as voting for the most popular delicacies at the festival, learning to make traditional cakes with artisans...", Mr. Truong Duc Hung informed.
Mr. Truong Duc Hung said that before the opening day of the festival, 10,000 tickets had been sold.
At the festival, diners have the opportunity to enjoy more than 400 regional dishes and drinks at more than 40 food stalls arranged in 3 regions: North, Central, South. Among them, there are many unique and delicious dishes introduced for the first time at the festival. In addition, the event also has the participation of culinary brands from Ben Tre, Tay Ninh provinces, partners of Saigontourist Group such as Vietnam Airlines, Saigon Trading Group (Satra)...

Saigontourist Group's 2024 Food and Culture Festival at Van Thanh tourist area opens to serve diners from 4-10pm continuously from March 28-21, 2024. Guests buy entrance tickets with coupons attached to use the service, with a package ticket price of 200,000 VND/adult, children under 1.4m tall are free.
