The review results show that Dong Thap does not propose to build new schools but focuses on adding items to meet boarding conditions for students. In addition to regular classrooms, the province recommends investing in classrooms for subjects such as music , fine arts, information technology, foreign languages, science and technology, etc., along with auxiliary items including kitchens, kitchen storage, teachers' housing, playgrounds, and swimming pools.

Total investment capital demand is more than 233 billion VND, of which central capital supports about 163.6 billion VND, the rest from local budget.

Some projects with large investment levels include: Thong Binh Secondary School (Thong Binh Commune) with more than 1,100 students, needs 46.3 billion VND to build 46 items; Thuong Phuoc 1 Secondary School (Thuong Phuoc Commune) needs more than 34.4 billion VND to add 32 classrooms and auxiliary works; Nguyen Du Secondary School (Binh Phu Commune) needs more than 20.8 billion VND for 18 items; Binh Thanh 1 Primary School (Binh Thanh Commune) needs more than 24 billion VND to build 24 new classrooms.

Other primary and secondary schools in Tan Hoi Co, Thuong Phuoc, Thuong Thoi Hau A, Thuong Lac communes... are also on the investment list, with capital ranging from several billion to more than 18 billion VND (depending on scale).

According to the Dong Thap Department of Education and Training, completing facilities for schools in border areas will contribute to ensuring teaching and learning conditions, helping students have a stable place to live and work; at the same time, creating favorable conditions for attracting teachers to work long-term in this special area.
