DTO - On the afternoon of September 11, at the Provincial People's Committee, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) of the province held a launching ceremony to support people affected by storm No. 3. The launching ceremony was broadcast online to 12 districts and cities.

According to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, in recent days, storm No. 3 (Yagi) has left serious consequences for people and property in the northern provinces and cities. According to statistics from the Department of Dyke Management and Natural Disaster Prevention and Control ( Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development ), by noon on September 11, 152 people died and 140 people were missing due to landslides and flash floods caused by storm No. 3. Along with that, thousands of houses and production facilities had their roofs blown off, collapsed, and swept away; the area of ​​plants, crops and the number of livestock were damaged very large, and it is currently impossible to fully count...

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Vo Ngoc Thanh - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee said that the Party and State have devoted many resources to restoring infrastructure, supporting reproduction, and ensuring the lives of people in disaster-affected areas. However, while the budget is still limited, the joint efforts and contributions of the whole community are needed. In the spirit of "mutual love and support", Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Vo Ngoc Thanh called on cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, workers, armed forces, agencies, units, businesses, and philanthropists to join hands to share difficulties and help people affected by natural disasters quickly stabilize their lives.

Promoting the tradition of “helping each other”, at the launching ceremony, provincial leaders, departments, agencies, companies, businesses, religious organizations and representatives from 12 district-level bridges donated money to people in the provinces affected by storms and floods. According to statistics, by 4:00 p.m. on September 11, the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee had received more than 13.2 billion VND.
