Vietnam Railways launched the Tree Planting Festival and implemented the "Train Road - Flower Road" movement in the Spring of At Ty 2025

This morning, February 19, Vietnam Railway Corporation coordinated with the Women's Union and Youth Union of Nam Dinh province to organize the launching ceremony of the Tree Planting Festival to forever remember Uncle Ho and deploy the movement "Train Road - Flower Road" Spring At Ty 2025.

Attending the event were Comrade Tran Lan Phuong - Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union, Comrade Ha Lan Anh - Vice President of the People's Committee of Nam Dinh province, Comrade Dang Sy Manh - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Railway Corporation, along with many leaders of central and local Departments, branches, representatives of the Youth Union, Women's Union and railway workers.

Speaking at the event, Comrade Ha Lan Anh - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Dinh province stated that the "Train Road - Flower Road" movement is not only a continuation of the tradition of Tet tree planting following the example of Uncle Ho, but also a very practical activity with profound impacts on society, culture and the environment. For his part, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Railway Corporation, Comrade Dang Sy Manh added that the launching ceremony of Tet tree planting and the implementation of the "Train Road - Flower Road" movement this year is even more meaningful when at the same time as the event, the National Assembly officially approved the new investment project of the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line, marking a period of prosperity and growth of the Vietnam Railway industry.

This year, the launching ceremony of the Tree Planting Festival and the implementation of the "Train Road - Flower Road" movement in the Spring of At Ty 2025 was held at Nui Goi Station, Goi Town, Vu Ban District, Nam Dinh Province, a place of great significance to the Railway industry. At this place, 59 years ago, 23 soldiers of the 895th Youth Volunteer Company, along with railway officers, workers and employees in the Goi station area and local people bravely sacrificed their lives to save a cargo train supporting the South that was burned during a bombing raid by American planes.
