Projects of Vingroup and Sun Group in the land use plan of Dong Anh district

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - A series of large-scale projects spanning hundreds of hectares by major corporations such as Vingroup, Sun Group , and BRG are included in the land use plan of Dong Anh district (Hanoi).

The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 19 approving the land use plan for Dong Anh district in 2025.

According to the decision, the approved land use plan for Dong Anh district in 2025 includes a list of 513 projects with a total area of ​​nearly 5,325 hectares, including many large-scale urban and housing projects.

For example, the project to invest in and build a new urban area in Xuan Canh, Dong Hoi, and Mai Lam communes, Dong Anh district, with a scale of over 265 hectares and a total estimated investment of 34,879 billion VND, is being developed by Vietnam Exhibition and Fair Center Joint Stock Company (VEFAC) - a subsidiary of Vingroup .

Next is the Smart and Ecological Urban Area project in Tam Xa, Vinh Ngoc, and Xuan Canh communes. This project covers an area of ​​268 hectares with a preliminary total investment of approximately 33,093 billion VND. The project is being developed by a consortium of Vingroup, Thai Son Construction Investment Joint Stock Company, and Long Hai Investment and Development Trading Joint Stock Company.

In addition, there is the new National Exhibition and Convention Center project in Dong Anh district, covering an area of ​​over 92 hectares, invested by Vietnam Exhibition and Convention Center Joint Stock Company (VEFAC).

Additionally, this list includes the 271-hectare Smart City project, implemented by North Hanoi Smart City Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (NHSC) - a joint venture between BRG Group (Vietnam) and Sumitomo Group (Japan).

In addition, there is the Kim Quy Cultural, Tourism, and Entertainment Park project, covering 101 hectares, invested by Sun Group. There is also a low-income housing project on plots CT3 and CT4 in the Kim Chung New Urban Area, invested by a joint venture between Hanoi Housing Investment and Development Corporation (Handico) and Viglacera Corporation.

New projects registered in the 2025 land use plan include the construction of the G21 new urban area (nearly 44ha), the G22 new urban area (nearly 88ha), the G23 new urban area (nearly 53ha), The Lake City Ven Song Thiep - Dong Anh new urban area (165ha), the G6 new urban area (over 38ha), the Xuan Canh new urban area (nearly 57ha), the G1 new urban area (over 45ha), the G3 new urban area (nearly 80ha), the G4 new urban area (nearly 96ha),...

The People's Committee of Hanoi City assigns the People's Committee of Dong Anh District to announce and publicize the land use plan in accordance with the provisions of land law. Land acquisition must be carried out in accordance with the approved land use plan.

Simultaneously, organize inspections to monitor the implementation of the land use plan; promptly detect and handle cases of violations of the land use plan; strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation process of the land use plan to ensure the feasibility of the 2025 land use plan. Balance and determine the sources of funding to implement the land use plan to ensure its feasibility.

The People's Committee of Dong Anh District is responsible for reporting the results of the land use plan implementation before October 15th.

The Hanoi Department of Natural Resources and Environment is responsible for allocating land, leasing land, and changing land use purposes in accordance with the approved land use plan. This department is tasked with inspecting the implementation of the land use plan; regularly updating eligible projects and works for submission to the Hanoi People's Committee for approval and inclusion in the annual land use plan as prescribed.
