Tay Ho Tay Urban Area Project (Starlake Tay Ho Tay) is located on the extended Nguyen Van Huyen Street, Tay Ho District, Hanoi City . The administrative boundaries of Starlake Tay Ho Tay are Xuan La Ward, Tay Ho District; Nghia Do Ward, Cau Giay District; Xuan Tao & Co Nhue Ward, Tu Liem District.
The project has a total investment of 1.3 billion USD invested by THT Development Co., Ltd., owned by Daewoo E&C Company of Korea. Starlake Tay Ho Tay is planned on a total area of 186.3 hectares. Of which, 31 hectares are for the construction of the central square and headquarters of administrative agencies; 8 hectares for theeducation system; 27 hectares for the commercial and business center; 4.5 hectares for the regulating lake and only 16% of the area is for housing.
In particular, in the project planning, this is also where the government places the headquarters of 8 ministries and branches, creating the position of a new administrative center in the capital.
Starlake Tay Ho Tay is divided into 2 phases. Phase 1 was built on a total area of 114.8 hectares from June 2010 to December 2019. Including townhouses, villas and luxury apartments, tennis courts, swimming pools, gyms, central lakes, and international schools. There are 364 townhouses, villas, shophouses and 3 luxury apartment buildings with 603 apartments.
Phase 1 of the project includes apartment building H9, villas H6, H7, H10, H11, and International Inter-level School.
At the time of opening for sale, the price offered for apartments here was from 52 - 75 million VND/m2, shophouses were about 120 million VND/m2, and adjacent villas were from 120 - 125 million VND/m2 depending on location.
Currently, according to broker Hoang Anh Tuan, there are almost no new apartments for sale, only transferred apartments, so the price is quite high compared to the opening time.
Specifically, apartment prices range from 91 - 102 million VND/m2; villas and shophouses in areas H6, H7, H10, H11 range from 200 - 390 million VND/m2. Moreover, villas and shophouses in areas K3, K5, K7 on Nguyen Van Huyen extended street range from 300 - 560 million VND/m2.
The broker said that houses in the K3 area always attract attention because they have the best location in the whole area. Because the K3 area is prioritized to be located near ministries, class A office buildings right in front and next to the 6- star hotel of the Korean SK Group.
In particular, this urban area is also where Samsung has its largest Research and Development Center in Southeast Asia. The center has 16 floors above ground and 3 basements, with a total floor area of nearly 80,000 m2 worth nearly 220 million USD.
Samsung Research and Development Center has a frontage on Hoang Minh Thao Street.
Construction began in March 2020 and the new center will be responsible for research and development of Samsung mobile devices, including mobile phones, tablets, and software products. It is expected that about 2,000 Vietnamese employees will work here.

Phase 2 of the project has a total construction area of 71 hectares, expected to sell about 300 more shophouses and villas. In addition, there are 9 hectares of commercial areas, offices and schools.
The shophouse area on Nguyen Van Huyen street in phase 2 is almost completed, only a few houses inside are still being completed.
While the progress of phase 1 is on schedule and has not cooled down yet, phase 2 has just gradually completed the shophouse area, starting to build the first items of the Hotel at lot B3 - CC1. Meanwhile, the land for building items such as the administrative center, office area or commercial centers occupies most of the area of the entire urban area.
Phase 2 of the project until April 2023 is still constructing the first items of the Hotel at lot B3 -CC1.
