Coffee price forecast tomorrow 5/14/2025 - market slightly down.

On May 13, both domestic and international coffee markets plunged. Domestic coffee prices fell for the third consecutive session and recorded the deepest correction in May, closely following the downward trend of the international coffee market.

According to experts, the reason for the continuous decline in coffee prices is due to the pressure from the supply forecast to improve when the Robusta harvest in Brazil and Indonesia begins to push output to the market. In addition, the weather in the Arabica growing areas of Brazil is more favorable.

At the same time, the market is also affected by concerns about slowing consumption demand in the US and Europe, as roasters tend to postpone purchases at high prices.

In addition, the weakening of the Brazilian Real in recent days has caused farmers in this country to increase sales, further putting downward pressure on world coffee prices.

In the short term, coffee prices are expected to continue to be under downward pressure if the US dollar remains high and global supply continues to increase. However, if demand for coffee increases, especially from major markets such as the US and Europe, prices may stabilize or increase slightly. Therefore, coffee growers and traders should closely monitor the movements of the US dollar and the world coffee market to develop appropriate business strategies. Timely grasping of information and market trends will help optimize profits in the current coffee market context.

According to preliminary statistics from the General Department of Customs, in April 2025, Vietnam's coffee exports decreased by 8% in volume, 9.2% in value and 1.3% in price compared to March 2025, reaching 166,606 tons, equivalent to 965.83 million USD, with an average price of 5,797 USD/ton.
