On the afternoon of January 1, the leader of Cam Ranh International Airport said that during the 3-day New Year holiday of 2024, the airport served 313 flights with about 51,000 passengers, including 169 international flights with more than 31,000 passengers and 144 domestic flights with nearly 20,000 passengers. According to Ms. Le Thi Hong Minh - General Director of Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company, the number of international visitors through Cam Ranh International Terminal is very high compared to New Year's Day 2023. In addition to major markets such as Korea, China, Kazakhstan..., this time there is also a charter flight bringing Japanese visitors from Sendai city, Miyagi province (Japan) to Khanh Hoa , opening up hope of welcoming many tourists from the land of cherry blossoms in 2024. Besides tourists traveling by air, a large number of tourists come to Khanh Hoa by road, mainly by personal vehicles. On December 31, 2023, the luxury cruise ship Westerdam docked at Nha Trang Port with 2,000 visitors... Thanks to that, the number of tourists increased quite high compared to New Year's Day 2023.

The increase in the number of guests has brought joy to many accommodation establishments in Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa. Ms. Le Thi Thanh Thu - General Manager of December Nha Trang Hotel said that during the 3-day Tet holiday (from December 30, 2023 to January 1), the hotel's room occupancy rate was up to 90%. Hotels: Sheraton Nha Trang, Novotel Nha Trang, Potique..., room occupancy rate also reached about 80%. Guests staying were mainly international guests, mostly Korean guests. In Bai Dai area, resorts such as: The Anam Cam Ranh, Fusion Cam Ranh, Ana Mandara Cam Ranh, Alma..., room occupancy rate was 70% or more. “From Christmas to New Year, Alma's room occupancy rate reached over 70%. In addition to Korean guests, there were also many Australian, Western European, American guests coming to relax. With these positive signs, we believe that tourism will flourish even more in 2024,” said Ms. Vu Thi Huong Giang - Accommodation Manager of Alma Resort.

To complete the above goal, the provincial tourism industry has proposed many solutions, in which promotion work will be carried out more strongly in international markets, diversifying the market in terms of both nationality and type of tourism products. In addition to beach resort tourism, the provincial tourism industry will promote the development of MICE tourism products, golf, mountain and forest ecology...".
According to the Department of Tourism, it is estimated that during the 3-day New Year holiday in 2024, the whole province will welcome nearly 141,200 overnight guests, an increase of more than 34.2% compared to the New Year holiday in 2023, including more than 105,700 domestic guests (up 7.6%) and 35,500 international guests (up 410.8%). Room occupancy is estimated at more than 73.5%. Tourism revenue is estimated at VND 498.6 billion, an increase of nearly 39.2% over the same period last year.
