Ninh Binh tourism is ready to welcome guests during the holidays

During the April 30-May 1 holiday this year, Ninh Binh is considered an ideal destination for domestic and international tourists . Currently, hotels, homestays, restaurants, and entertainment venues in the area have prepared well, ensuring safety, thoughtfulness, and are ready to welcome tourists to visit and experience.

Before the 5-day holiday, tourism service businesses have urgently completed the conditions of facilities and human resources to welcome and serve tourists. At the Quen Tho Experiential Tourism Area (Dong Son Commune, Tam Diep City), since the beginning of April, this unit has reviewed the conditions of human resources, room status as well as hygiene and food safety.

Mr. Trinh Van Tien, representative of the tourist area, said: We have added decorative miniatures, planted more trees and flowers to serve the photography and check-in interests of tourists. In particular, during this year's holiday, we promote rural tourism experiences for tourists. Accordingly, when coming here, tourists will be immersed in many interesting activities such as harvesting agricultural products, catching fish, grilling fish, taking care of animals... Currently, these subdivisions are all ready, ensuring absolute safety for tourists. Up to now, the room occupancy rate during the holiday has reached 100%, with about 15 groups of tourists registering to participate in these experiences.

Learning from previous holidays, Mr. Pham Tien Dat, representative of Hoang Linh Homestay and Restaurant (Ninh Xuan commune, Hoa Lu district) has also prepared well, ready to welcome guests during the big holidays of the year. Mr. Dat informed that for motorbike and bicycle rental services alone, his establishment has maintained and mobilized additional vehicles, ensuring 100 vehicles, meeting the needs of tourists. Although there are preparations every year, they have not been able to meet the needs of customers.

During the April 30 and May 1 holidays this year, some services such as camping and car rental will only accept reservations before April 26 to have time to arrange everything carefully and fully. According to the predictions of many tourism service businesses, the number of visitors to Ninh Binh during this holiday will increase dramatically. Because this is the occasion for Ninh Binh to organize many attractive cultural and entertainment events to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Trang An Heritage being recognized as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage.

To "catch the wave" of visitors to Ninh Binh this time, many other units have also "launched" new and attractive products. For example, Thung Nham Eco-tourism Area has included a check-in area recreating the scene of Vietnam on the day of Southern Liberation and National Reunification; or check-in areas with incense sticks, hydrangeas... are also highlights expected to attract many young people when coming to Ninh Binh.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, Tien Phong Travel Company, Ninh Binh branch, airfares during the April 30 and May 1 holidays increased, even accounting for about 50% of the tour cost, so many tourist groups prioritize choosing nearby destinations with beautiful natural landscapes. In particular, Ninh Binh is a destination chosen by many tourists because it is close to the capital Hanoi - the largest passenger transit center in the North. On this occasion, the number of tourists booking tours to Ninh Binh is mainly families, groups of friends, and companies from the Central market.

Ms. Duong Thi Thanh, Chairwoman of the Provincial Tourism Association, said: During the April 30 and May 1 holidays, the number of visitors to Ninh Binh is expected to increase dramatically. The Association has promoted and reminded members in the area to improve service quality, ensure necessary conditions to welcome tourists to stay at the facility, and encourage businesses to build and invest in new, high-quality tourism products. At the same time, promote the role of the Restaurant Association (under the Association) to continue to connect, support each other, and serve tourists well during peak times, ensuring that there is no price hike, overloading or poor service when many tourists flock at one time.

With the careful preparation and readiness of the tourism industry on the occasion of April 30 and May 1, it will contribute to serving the needs of tourists well, continuing to affirm the position and potential of Ninh Binh tourism on the domestic and international map. At the same time, this is also the driving force for the industry to exceed the plan to welcome 7.5 million visitors set out in 2024.
