Ranked 6th, with a score of 91/100 from global readers, Hoi An (Da Nang) is the only representative of Vietnam to appear in the list of 10 best cities in the world in 2025 voted by Travel + Leisure (T + L) magazine, one of the world's leading publications on travel and experiences.
Hoi An ancient town makes a strong impression thanks to its architecture bearing the imprint of the fusion between local and foreign cultures, its interwoven canal system and the friendliness of its people.

This year's ranking by Travel + Leisure magazine shows the dominance of Asian cities, taking up 7 positions in the top 10, including Chiang Mai (Thailand), Tokyo (Japan), Bangkok (Thailand), Jaipur (India), Hoi An (Vietnam), Kyoto (Japan) and Ubud (Indonesia).
Previously, in early June, travel platform Agoda also introduced Hoi An (Vietnam) as one of the top 5 cycling destinations in Asia.
This is a selection introduced in response to World Bicycle Day on June 3.
