During the comprehensive training inspection, General Nguyen Tan Cuong praised the efforts and sense of responsibility of the forces, especially in the context of harsh weather conditions and stressful training schedules.

On the morning of July 17, at the National Military Training Center 4, General Nguyen Tan Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Minister of National Defense , chaired and inspected the comprehensive training of the forces participating in the comprehensive training in preparation for the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) (abbreviated as mission A80).

Attending the inspection were Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army; Lieutenant General Truong Thien To, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; leaders and commanders of agencies and units under the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security .

The formation participating in this parade has 18 standing groups; 43 walking groups (including 7 female Army groups, 2 female Police groups including: Military Band, Military Medical Officer, Vietnam Peacekeeper , Special Forces Soldiers, Information Soldiers, Militia of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups, Southern Guerrillas; Traffic Police Officers, Special Police Soldiers), totaling more than 15,000 people.

The highlight of this morning's training session was the appearance of military equipment and special police vehicles, demonstrating the continuous growth of the people's armed forces over the past 80 years, under the wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

After the forces conducted a general rehearsal, on behalf of the Central Military Commission and the leaders of the Ministry of National Defense, General Nguyen Tan Cuong acknowledged, highly appreciated and commended the sense of responsibility, results and achievements of the units; at the same time, he emphasized that after more than a month of concentrated training, the officers and soldiers always clearly demonstrated great efforts and determination to overcome many difficulties, in harsh weather conditions, taking advantage of time to actively practice with high intensity to aim for the goal of "correct, even, strong, beautiful, unified"; demonstrating the discipline as well as the strength of the people's armed forces.

The 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is a major political event, an opportunity for the entire Party, people and army to review the heroic history of the nation. To organize a parade commensurate with the scale and significance of the event, on that basis, General Nguyen Tan Cuong requested agencies and units to continue to direct and organize basic training, focusing on basic training of each individual, each group, each row as the basis for practicing coordinated movements within the bloc, achieving training targets according to the requirements of the tasks of each bloc and each force. Organize comprehensive training of the armed forces, preliminary and final rehearsals closely, ensuring the highest quality.

General Nguyen Tan Cuong suggested that the General Department of Politics continue to direct the promotion of Party and political activities in parades and marches, focusing on propaganda work on mass media; strengthen education to raise the sense of responsibility, determination and ensure good cultural and spiritual life for the forces. The General Department of Logistics and Technology continues to direct the assurance of good military supplies and uniforms, especially ensuring technical work for military vehicles and artillery participating in parades and marches.

General Nguyen Tan Cuong hopes and believes that each force, each bloc, each cadre and soldier will promote the spirit of the August Revolution and the immortal National Day of September 2, raise awareness, take advantage of time, actively practice "solidarity, coordination, collective achievements", and successfully complete the tasks of training, general practice, preliminary rehearsal, and final rehearsal, so that we can have a parade worthy of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
