Capital Youth supports people to receive Independence Day gifts

Since the afternoon of August 31, in 126 communes and wards in Hanoi, the capital's youth union members have promoted the spirit of volunteerism and actively supported people to receive social security gifts on the occasion of National Day, September 2.

In the localities, the Youth Union forces undertake many practical tasks such as: Guiding people to line up, completing procedures; supporting the list review, guiding the filling of information forms and ensuring security and order at payment points. At the same time, propagandizing to people and union members on fanpages and social platforms about the significance of the Party and State giving gifts to people on the occasion of Independence Day...

In addition to the force supporting people at the points, many Youth Unions of communes and wards also set up mobile propaganda teams to go to each alley and hamlet to propagate to people and propagate the meaning of the Party and State giving gifts to the people.

Previously, on August 29, the Government issued Resolution No. 263/NQ-CP on giving gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. The Resolution clearly stated that 100,000 VND/person in cash would be given to Vietnamese citizens and people of Vietnamese origin who have been collected, updated, and assigned personal identification numbers in the National Population Database, established by the end of August 30, 2025.

The payment period is from August 31, 2025 to September 1, 2025; in case of objective reasons, the gift can be received after this period, but no later than September 15, 2025.
