Cuc Phuong Forest is a nature reserve located in the territory of 3 provinces: Thanh Hoa, Hoa Binh and Ninh Binh, about 120km south of Hanoi.

Cuc Phuong Forest was established on July 7, 1962, with a total area of up to 22,408 hectares. This is one of the national parks with an extremely rich and diverse flora and fauna ecosystem.

Directions to Cuc Phuong National Park
Cuc Phuong is not too far from Hanoi , visitors can choose one of the means of transport such as motorbike, car, bus, etc. Usually motorbike is the popular means of transport because it is quite convenient when moving deep into the forest.

Each vehicle will have a different route, for example, motorbikes and private cars to get to Cuc Phuong forest you will follow National Highway 1A, when you reach Gian Khau intersection ( Ninh Binh ), turn onto National Highway 12A, then go through Nho Quan town for another 2km to get there.

If you choose a bus, limousine, etc., you need to choose a vehicle traveling along the Hanoi - Nho Quan Ninh Binh route. After arriving in Nho Quan, you can take a taxi, motorbike taxi or bus to Cuc Phuong forest.
